Rene Marie Russo (born Rene Marie Russo) is an American film model, actress and film maker. Her stunning beauty as well as her successes in the field of film are a testament to her skills as a model. Rose Namajunas has been one of UFC's most prominent female athletes. She began as an amateur fighter, competing in different regional promotions. Invicta Fighting Championships signed her in and then she became a member of the Ultimate Fighting Championships. Her accomplishments both in and out in the Octagon has made her famous since she was a part of the UFC. Namajunas is born June 29th 1993 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to a Lithuanian immigrants family. While growing up, Rose was involved in activities like basketball and kickboxing. Invicta Fighting Championships signed her when she was 18 years old and went on to beat two opponents via submission. It caught the attention to Dana White who signed her to be a part of the UFC s strawweight division in December 2014 at just 22 years old. Rose was a high-flyer but she's also had lows in her career but always came in the end on the top. Rose fought Carla Esparza on April 15 in 2015 for the Women s Strawweight Championship. Rose beat Esparza with a technical knockout in less than 3 minute of round One. Rose not only won the championship but was named Fighter Of The Night. Rose also made MMA historical with her fight since she was the first female to fight to win the title of champion within any organization of note. Namajunas was able to win several bouts following this victory, that included beating Joanna Jedrzejczyk on two occasions. This resulted in Namajunas Performance Of The Night accolades from UFC.
